Uncertainty about the net benefits of coordinated actions to control ACP and HLB in California hinders the decision-making ability of the California’s citrus industry. This project will use existing dynamic HLB epidemiological models to estimate the present value of net benefits of coordinated control efforts compared to uncoordinated efforts. Models will also be used to estimate the future time when net benefits become negative. Additionally, the project will analyze different dimensions of equity of proposed control actions to improve grower acceptance of proposed actions.
